Novice

I discovered blogs a few months ago and have fought off the growing addiction ever since. I love visiting my favorites, to ooohh and aaaahh over the lovely pictures and find inspiration in fashion, cooking, entertaining, the list goes on and on.  As I read, the desire to join the ranks of the bloggers grew, so here I am.  

When I was living in Thailand I briefly studied Thai Buddhism. As I was signing up for my shiny new blog the images of novice monks in their saffron hued robes kept popping into my mind. The novice monks had to work extra hard at what they did, as will I, as I create this blog. I love to cook and bake, but writing and taking delicious pictures doesn't come easily to me. I doubt that my little blog will ever look like any of the gorgeous creations that I visit every afternoon. But hopefully, with persistence, I can create something to be proud of. 

So...hello hello hello!  If anyone is reading this, hello! If this doesn't work out, I can always refer to it as an April Fools!
